Specifics:

* you must be 18 years+, have valid ID to prove it, and be willing to sign a model release.

* I mostly work with female models. Rare exceptions are made for those that I know personally, or those who have been referred by someone I know personally. But those are exceptions and not the rule.

* you must be comfortable with artistic nudes. Please note: artistic does not equal sexually explicit.

* all ages (above 18) and all body types are accepted

* I shoot because I enjoy being creative. As such, the majority of my projects are TFP (Trade For Print). You will receive digital copies, suitable for online portfolios, of any prints I choose to use myself.

* previous modeling experience is not necessary

The Skin I'm In:

I was diagnosed with breast cancer last year. I had just turned 30 a few months prior to my diagnosis, and instead of being able to celebrate being in the prime of my life, I had to deal with my body failing me. I had to deal with surgery, chemo and all kinds of other unpleasant treatments. 'Cut, poisoned and burned' is how I refer to it these days. My treatments are done, and I'm in remission now. But I wear my scar with pride.

I think about that scar a lot (understandably), and the more I thought about it, the more abstract it became in my mind. I began to see it as a landmark in the crazy map that is my life. A sign post as it were, pointing to the time that everything changed. Thinking about it in those terms, opened up the idea that we all carry such markers with us. Perhaps someone else's sign posts aren't quite as dramatic as mine was - perhaps they were more dramatic still. Regardless, we all carry them.
